Signs of Christmas
It’s been two years since I roamed the beach on Christmas day and I’ve had two requests for what it’s like here today. Most of the day was bright and sunny and there were lots of people on the beach by mid-day.

Signs of a Neighborhood

Posted by Jeff on Sep 14, 2008 in 722pm, FtL

Yesterday morning, I took a little photo journey through my (relatively) new neighborhood, documenting the various signs that mark the hotels and resorts that are here. You’ll see there’s an eclectic mix of new, old and very old that give the neighborhood some style and character. As I walked I tried to think how these older places were when they were brand new–crisp, clean, fresh paint, with people who were proud of the place they just created. Now many sit in various stages of disrepair, some ready for demolition, some being renovated.
